Hi all,
When one displays an Ensight Gold case in a Paraview Spreadsheet and click on the Toggle cell connectivity visibility button, one can see very interesting data about the mesh : cell ID, block ID, node IDs, cell type. The question is: how to export it, for example, in a CSV file? The simple copy-paste method in an OpenOffice Spreadsheet doesn't work. The CSV writer method (http://www.paraview.org/Wiki/ParaVie...rting_CSV_Data) allows to export some columns, but not all the ones visible in Paraview. Any help would be very appreciated! Best regards, William |

You can find "Export Data" or "Save Data" in ParaView's "File" menu. This will export everything into .csv if the spreadsheet is the active view.

Thank you very much for your time. The Save Data method gives the same result than the CSV writer method: only few columns are exported (actually, only a single "Cell Type" column is exported for cell data, and only the "Points:0", "Points:1", "Points:2" columns for the point data). Edit: I am using Paraview 4.1.0. |

Hello Taalf,
I saw both the options save data and export scene. But my problem is I have huge data sheet so I dont want to use save data and export scene just exports particular data for a particular time step. I have huge data and 100s of time steps. So I dont want to use export scene for that many times. Is there any option for that? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. |
